Rocket Club will join the "15 Bands, 15 Years" celebration at this year's Cities 97 Basilica Block Party. Other artists appearing include the Counting Crows, the Jayhawks, the Hold Steady and the Black Crowes.
Rocket Club performs on the Sun Country Happy Hour stage at 5 p.m. Friday July 10th.
The Basilica Block Party is celebrating its 15th year and expecting 25,000 attendees for a weekend of food, music and fund-raising the historic Basilica.

Rocket Club just completed a visit to Hollywood, CA where we performed at the Comedy for a Cure 2009 in support of the TS Alliance, supporting research for Tuberous Sclerosis.
This was a fantastic event that drew in celebrities and donors to raise awareness and funds for research for this terrible disease. To learn more about Tuberous Sclerosis and make a donation, please visit www.tsalliance.org. It was our honor to support this great cause.

Rocket Club To Be Featured on Sun Country Airlines New Music CD
CD Release Party At The Chambers on Tuesday, March 24
MINNEAPOLIS — Sun Country’s in-flight audio is made up exclusively of
Minnesota artists. The program was launched in March 2008 and this year
the program features a third wave of artists and will include a brand
new cd. The cd is being celebrated with a party next Tuesday. One of
the bands being featured is Rocket Club.
True to its name, Rocket Club was formed based on a shared love and a
common quest. Four friends and now bandmates missed hearing three-piece
harmonies and the groups that melded them together perfectly. So, with
frequent front-porch writing sessions that generated an abundance of
hook-laden tunes, the group steadily crafted a new vessel and pointed
it at the stars.
Powered by three-part vocals and guided by solid songwriting and
musicianship, Rocket Club's recently launched debut album pulls from a
variety of different influences, but clearly pays tribute to some of
music's great storytellers. Think Del Amitri or Eagles; or - more
locally - the Jayhawks and Semisonic, and you'll understand the band's
audio foundation.
Rocket Club is an assortment of hum-worthy hooks and story-telling-through-songwriting. The band's tracks are perfectly sporadic, yet smooth and delicious. It's a twist on Americana music.
The band is currently being played on Cities 97 and K102, and is being featured at the Electric Fetus and Best Buy.
